CityCom - a company of the Kathrein group

CityCom was founded in 1974 as a subsidiary of Kathrein KG, the oldest and largest manufacturer of antenna systems worldwide. Our activities stretch around all over the globe and are controlled from the headquarter, located in Amerang, Bavaria.

As a competent partner with more than 35 years experience, we provide our customers with innovative solutions for reception systems and distribution devices. These products are used primarily for satellite reception systems and cable networks.

Our range includes LNBs, Offset Parabol Antennas and Digital Receiver in different types for receiving digital TV via satellite (DVB-S), cable (DVB-C) and terrestrial (DVB-T). Furthermore we present a comprehensive spectrum of Multiswitches, able to realize very large SAT- IF - distribution systems. Besides Headend systems for signal processing for small and medium cable networks we additionally provide amplifiers, splitters and taps.

We also operate the field of Broadband Communication and distribute fibre optical transmitting and reception systems. Another strategic business unit includes products realizing reception of TV on PC or  Notebook and Internet via satellite. These products are sold in the brands Satelco and TechnoTrend.
